The Astros answered back in Game 2 of the World Series. And with a night off from baseball, the sports gods are giving us a Thursday Night Football clash of NFC juggernauts. Today’s edition is brief, but tomorrow will bring the heat.

Astros def. Braves (7-2) to Even World Series at 1-1

 

It’s all square in the Fall Classic! The Astros rocked the Braves to get even in Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday night. Houston used a four-run 2nd inning to blow the game open. Jose Altuve carried the big bat with a 2-for-5 night that included his 22nd postseason home run— that ties him with Bernie Williams for the second-most in postseason history.
