The Astros completed the sweep on Monday night with an 11-3 win over Cleveland. Houston’s scoring effort was launched by three home runs, including two from George Springer and one from Carlos Correa. Springer’s second shot came in a 6-run 8th inning for Houston. Read More

Los Angeles beat Atlanta 6-2 behind Manny Machado’s 3-run blast in the 7th inning. The Dodgers advance to the NLCS and will play the Brewers on Friday. By avoiding Game 5, they saved a game for Clayton Kershaw and should have the ace fresh for Game 1 or 2 of the NLCS. Read More
Holt Cycles as Red Sox Smash Yankees in Game 3
Boston put the hurt on New York in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead, beating the Yankees 16-1 in Yankee Stadium. It was the worst postseason loss in Yankees history, but the big story was Brock Holt who went 4-for-6 with a single, double, triple, and a home run in the 9th inning. Holt became the first player in MLB history to hit for the cycle in the playoffs. Read More
