NBA Preseason Heats Up
With one week until the NBA season begins, storylines are beginning to build. The games aren’t too bad, either. And there’s one worth watching tonight. Here’s the latest:
Rockets guard James Harden dropped 37 points last night on 13-for-18 shooting (9-for-14 from 3-point range) when the Rockets hosted the Shanghai Sharks. And now you’re wondering why you’re still reading about the Shanghai Sharks, but here’s why – Sharks’ guard Jimmer Fredette (remember this guy?) scored 41 points… on 40 shots. Talk about a green light.
LeBronzo Meets Warriors
LeBron James and Lonzo Ball will take the court together for the first time tonight, and they’ll do it against the Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas. No football. No baseball. Glad we at least have this Lakers saga to watch.
Suns Likely to Promote James Jones
The Phoenix Suns fired GM Ryan McDonough on Monday and it looks like owner Robert Sarver is leaning towards promoting James Jones to the position. Jones is the VP of Basketball Operations. He played in the NBA for 14 seasons and has three championship rings, all as a teammate of LeBron James.
